You’ve grabbed an eBook or Audiobook from our site—now let’s get it onto your device so you can dive in. Below you’ll find everything you need to start reading or listening right away.

Step 1: Download and unzip your audiobook files
- Download the audiobook zip files to your computer.
- Unzip the files to get a folder of audio files.
- On a Mac: The zip files should automatically open and show you a folder with the audio files. If not, just double-click the zip files.
- On Windows: Right-click and select Extract All to get a folder with the audio files.
Step 2: Playing the book
iOS device (e.g., iPhone, iPad, iPod)
You will have the best experience by using the latest version of iTunes on your computer and the latest version of iOS on your device.
- Drag and drop the unzipped folder(s) with your audiobook files into iTunes. Your book may show up in the music section instead of the audiobook section. Don’t worry, this is normal.
- Connect your device to your computer.
- Find the audiobook’s cover in iTunes and start dragging it. A pane with a list of connected devices will appear on the left of iTunes’ window. Drag the audiobook to your device in the list.
- After the sync finishes, you may discard your zipped downloads and unzipped folders on your computer. You no longer need them and can always re-download them from Libro.fm.
- Open the Music app on your device and start enjoying your audiobook!
Android device (e.g., Samsung Galaxy, HTC Desire, Google Nexus 10)
You will have the best experience by using the latest version of Android installed on your device. Please check with your manufacturer.
- Download and install the free Google Play Music app on to your device.
- Transfer the unzipped folder(s) with your audiobook files to your device through USB. We recommend you place the folders in /Downloads/Libro.fm
- After the sync finishes, you may discard your zipped downloads and unzipped folders on your computer. You no longer need them and can always re-download them from Libro.fm.
- Open the Google Play Music app on your device and start enjoying your audiobook!
Mac or Windows computer
You will have the best experience by using the latest version of iTunes on your computer.
